Actress/director Jada Pinkett Smith has never been tempted to take drugs after a life of witnessing first hand the effects substance abuse had on her family. The star of Matrix Reloaded, who is married to superstar Will Smith, grew up watching close family members struggle with drug addictions.
Pinkett believes that witnessing the daily battles that her loved ones faced has shaped her life and is the reason she has never been tempted to dabble in illegal substances.
She says, “I saw my aunt and mother go through addiction, and how they went in and out of rehab. It affected me a lot.”
