Beyonce is getting a little big headed recently:

Beyonce Knowles has infuriated Janet Jackson - by suggesting her family is lower class.

The former Destiny’s Child singer said in a recent interview, “I grew up upper class. Private school. My dad had a Jaguar. We’re African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we’re like The Jacksons.

“But I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation.”

Knowles’ comments were not welcome - and Janet now plans to confront her R&B rival.

A source tells the National Enquirer magazine, “Beyonce’s remark came out of left field and really stung Janet. She blew up.

“Yes, Janet and the Jackson family came from Gary, Indiana, and there was a time they barely squeaked by. But Janet has many loving memories and is incensed that Beyonce would make a crack like that.

“Janet wanted to know why Beyonce had to mention her family. They’re not friends and barely know each other. She feels Beyonce went out of her way to tell the world she’s from the upper class and the Jacksons were like a bunch of dirty gutter rats.

“Janet is proud of her family and how they came from nothing and became superstars.

“Not only is Janet telling everyone who will listen that Beyonce has a lot of growing up to do and that she needs to stop trying to impress everyone, she’s planning to confront Beyonce herself and read her the riot act.”

I think that Beyonce really needs to check herself. I know that the Beyonce stans that frequent the site are going to defend her, but what she said was totally uncalled for. Besides that, it isn’t like her family was the Cosbys or something. They had their issues also. Stay Tuned.

Beyonce celebrated the holidays atop the Billboard Hot 100:

Singer Beyonce Knowles celebrates Christmas today (Dec. 25) with the No. 1 song on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, as “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) begins a third and sixth week atop them, respectively. The track sold 149,000 downloads in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

There’s not much movement in the top 10 of the Hot 100 this week, as T.I.’s “Live Your Life” featuring Rihanna holds at No. 2 and Lady GaGa’s “Just Dance” featuring Colby O’Donis remains No. 3. Kanye West’s “Heartless” is the chart’s greatest airplay gainer and rises 7-4.

Britney Spears’ “Womanizer” is up 6-5, Katy Perry’s “Hot N Cold” jumps 8-6 and Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” climbs 11-7. Swift’s “Fearless” (Big Machine) is in a third non-consecutive week at No. 1 on The Billboard 200.

Another West song, “Love Lockdown,” moves 10-8, while T.I.’s “Whatever You Like” falls 5-9 and Beyonce’s “If I Were a Boy” falls 9-10 to round out the top portion.

In this recession that George Bush has put upon us, times are hard and people are desparate for money. That being said, crime is on the increase and even the stars have taken notice:

Singer-actress Beyonce Knowles has two engagement rings, and switches to a less expensive “fake” when she’s onstage and out in public.

When then boyfriend Jay-Z popped the question last year he presented her with a stunning $5 million, 18-carat diamond ring, and also gave her a much cheaper $5,000 imitation for concerts and parties.

A source revealed that “Even though Beyonce’s real engagement ring is insured, she doesn’t always feel comfortable wearing such a valuable stone.”

The internet has fast become the new way that the world finds out most of it’s information. Newspapers are steadily becoming dinosaurs with subscriptions falling to an all time low in the last few years. Many newspapers are in danger of closing down if they don’t revamp and either go online or market their websites better. People tend to get their news from blogs and as we all know, most blogs don’t adhere to the standards of journalists. For this reason, publicist Jonathan Hay was able to create the story that his artist Rihanna, was having an affair with Jay-Z to push her single “Pon De Replay”. The rumor made Rihanna a superstar. He also admits that Rihanna nor Jay-Z knew of his plans. Hay is releasing a book titled “Publicity Stunt - The Art Of Noise” which details how he created the rumor. Here are some excerpts from the book:

Jonathan Hay part one: Along with one of my partners, I then began to fabricate stories of Rihanna and Jay-Z, leaking false rumors to tabloids, working internet message boards, etc. We started to get an insane amount of media coverage very fast. There are so many things we did that people don’t even know about, not even Rihanna herself. She was completely unknown and I was paid by Vada Nobles to generate publicity. The mega Island Def Jam deal rumor, we fluffed and fabricated. Rihanna and Vada had no idea what I was doing behind the scenes, but my whole agenda was to get media for the song.

Jonathan Hay part two: I mean leaking out sensational stories and spreading them around in the news - to tabloids such as the ‘National Enquirer,’ music and gossip sites and whatnot. Like when the rumor surfaced that Jay-Z had a new love life and was cheating on Beyonce…that was just to get attention. Rihanna had nothing to do with any of that, nor did she know what we were doing. I was just trying to break the single and stay employed by Vada Nobles. Even Vada didn’t know half the stuff I was doing. I kept my strategy a secret at the time because, honestly, everyone would have been against it, the tactics that I used. But I was only thinking about the end result - and look what happened…gossip sells.

Jonathan Hay part three: I feel awful but, yes, I leaked some of those stories. Looking back, I am ashamed of that; there was zero integrity in that Beyonce & Rihanna maneuver. But this is entertainment and I wanted to obtain publicity - so I came up with some crazy stories and it worked. Rihanna is one of the biggest stars in the world now, and look at how she stormed into the business! Not to take anything from her - she is a great artist - but every artist needs a launching pad and there is nothing better than a good scandal to get the public’s attention.

Hopefully you readers will learn from this story that you can’t believe many of the stories that you read on gossip blogs. Bloggers take stories from other blogs, emails and tipsters who sometimes probably don’t even know any of the people they give tips on. Most of the stories are unsubstantiated and in some cases can cause harm.

Beyonce is taking time out of her busy schedule which consists of being a newlywed, promoting a new album and sucking up to the Obama’s to secure a spot as part of the Inauguration so that she could perform on her enemy Simon Cowell’s hit talent show “The X Factor”:

Beyonce will perform on the show’s finale on December 13, despite Simon once claiming she was ‘not sexy’ and ‘not a good singer’.

Beyonce’s father, Matthew Knowles, hit back at the music mogul’s comments, saying, “Simon wouldn’t know a hit song, image or talent if it hit him in the face.” (Does Mathew Knowles think that he’s Berry Gordy or something ??? Last I heard the only talent that he discovered was Destiny’s Child.)

Anyway, the show’s bosses are expecting the star’s performance to smash the viewing figures for Britney Spears’ appearance on the show last week. Spears was criticized when she mimed the words to Womanizer.

A show source tells The Sun, “Beyonce and Simon can put their differences from years ago to one side. He is way past it.

With all of the begging Beyonce was doing to be included she would have been embarrassed if she wasn’t invited:

The January 20 inauguration of Barack Obama is going to be a star studded one. Not only are some of the biggest names in Hollywood going to attend, stars like Beyonce and Jay Z will be performing for the crowd.

Other artists to perform at the gala event include British singing sensation Leona Lewis, Diddy and Mary J Blige, according to the UK Sun.

Also expected at the Inauguration is Anne Hathaway, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Connie Britton, Richard Schiff, Ellen Burstyn, Giancarlo Esposito, Gloria Reuben, Lynn Whitfield, Tamara Tunie and Tom Fontana.

Selling a whopping 482,000 copies of ‘I Am … Sasha Fierce’ in its first week of release lands Beyonce Knowles to the top spot on the ‘Billboard’ charts.

The new Music World/Columbia set, split between material credited to Beyonce and her alter-ego Sasha Fierce, has been bolstered by the break-out hits ‘If I Were a Boy’ and ‘Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).’

‘I Am’ is the former Destiny’s Child front-woman third straight Number One debut; her 2003 solo debut, ‘Dangerously in Love,’ opened with 317,000, while 2006’s ‘B-Day’ moved 541,000.

As expected, a string of strategically planned appearances (which included top rated TV shows such as ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show,’ ‘Saturday Night Live,’ ‘The American Music Awards’ and ‘Ellen’) helped catapult the project to become an out-the-box success.

Knowles wrapped a live performance of ‘TODAY’ this morning, closing her set with a soulful rendition of Etta James’ classic ‘At Last.’ She plays the R&B trailblazer in the film, ‘Cadillac Records,’ which opens Dec. 5.

• Schwartz had her artisans working day and night on the piece, laboring 24 hours a day until it was complete.

• It fits literally like a glove. Beyoncé’s entire upper arm was cast in wax so that the titanium piece would wrap perfectly.

• It’s actually several pieces, including a ring, a glove and a separate component that covers the upper arm. It can be worn all together or separately.

• It looks heavier than it is. Titanium is about 45 percent lighter than steel.

• Beyoncé really, really doesn’t want to take it off. She wore it on Saturday Night Live. She wore it in her “Single Ladies” video. She wore it in her cover spread for Gotham magazine. She wore it on the red carpet at the MTV Europe Awards.

• The glove was Beyoncé’s concept all the way, I am told-a “superpower” hand to complement the singer’s new Sasha Fierce ego.

Guess Jay-Z shouldn’t be expecting kids anytime soon:

Beyonce says it wasn’t easy being in the delivery room when her younger sister Solange gave birth to a boy, Daniel, in 2004.

“It kind of traumatized me,” she says on Tuesday’s Ellen DeGeneres Show. “I told my sister that. I said, ‘Please don’t have me in the room,’ and she said, ‘You have to - I’m your sister! Stop being so silly.’

“Well, I was right,” Beyonce told DeGeneres. “I’m traumatized.”

Still, the singer said, she “will” have a baby of her own.

“A couple, maybe,” she added.

Her husband Jay-Z would make a great dad.

“He’s a great guy. He’s a cool guy,” she said. “He’s patient.”

She added that “it feels great” being married.

Saying “I Do!” is “different for everyone,” she said.

In her case, she had been with the rapper for seven years.

“I was really young. I’m only 27, so I was really young, and I feel like it’s important for women and men to have their goals and their own life before they can complete someone else,” she said. “So we took our time.”

Jay-Z is even familiar with “Sasha Fierce,” but Beyonce says her alter ego “stays on the stage” and doesn’t come out in day-to-day life.

“People are like, ‘I don’t understand the Sasha Fierce thing.’ It’s for fun … and it gives me an excuse to blame anything really bad on Sasha Fierce.”
