Crackhead Bobby Brown has denied claims that he was violent towards ex-wife Whitney Houston during their stormy marriage.

The couple’s 15-year union, which ended last year (2007), was peppered with reports of Houston calling the police following furious arguments with her husband.

Brown admits he often lost his temper with the singer, but he denies that he ever struck her.

He told MTV, “I mean, I’m guilty of getting upset and flying off the handle a little. I was known to throw a bottle or two at a wall or something. Things that I’d regret, I would be responsible for cleaning up or having the wall repaired.

“What people fail to realise is that Whitney is no punk. She definitely knows how to handle and defend herself in situations that could have potentially been violent. Some of the stories in the media made me out to be like Ike Turner, when that wasn’t my character.”

On behalf of singer Whitney Houston, her publicist, Nancy Seltzer, called speculation that the couple were getting back together “a complete fabrication”.

Ms Seltzer pinpointed the rumours to a report in Wednesday’s Chicago Sun-Times which said Houston and Brown had been spotted out and about in Georgia looking romantic.

Houston and Brown divorced in April 2007 after 14 years of marriage.

During their tumultuous union, Brown was arrested on drug and alcohol charges, and Houston twice entered drug rehabilitation programmes.

Ms. Houston has custody of their teenage daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

I hope not because Whitney finally seemed to be cleaning herself up (if you know what I mean).

We’ve heard it before, but folks inside Whitney Houston’s circle of pals again insist the on-the-rebound diva and ex-husband Bobby Brown may be getting back together.

The official word from Camp Houston sticks to to the old line about the divorced couple remaining separate, ”but good friends whose primary interest is the well-being of their daughter.” Yet, several Georgia sightings of Houston and Brown in recent days — clearly looking very romantic while dining together — seem to boost the reliability of what I’m hearing. I’m also hearing that the divorced couple’s daughter Bobbi Kristina is eager for her parents to remarry.

• Meanwhile, the singer is facing another round of legal woes, stemming from an ongoing lawsuit filed last May by Whitney’s stepmother, Barbara Houston. In the lawsuit, first reported by tmz.com, Barbara Houston claimed Whitney was the beneficiary of a $1 million insurance policy left by her late father, John Houston. However, the suit further claims his estate instructions called for those funds to be used to retire the balance of the mortgage loan owed Whitney on his New Jersey condominium, with Barbara getting the remainder of the funds.

Whitney disputes all of Barbara Houston’s claims and is continuing to fight the case.

• Houston herself was the target of a $100 million lawsuit her dad filed against her shortly before his death, claiming he was owed the megabucks for management fees never paid. John Houston long managed both his ex-wife Cissy Houston’s career, as well as Whitney’s at various points.

Both father and daughter always maintained that lawsuit, settled before John Houston’s death in 2003, ”was strictly about business” and never had an impact upon their personal relationship, said to be quite close at the time of his demise.

I’m pretty sure that Clive Davis won’t be happy about this news. Maybe this is why Whitney’s supposed comeback album hasn’t had a single released yet and there is no other info on the project. With Bobby having to resort to sleeping on that tramp Supahead’s couch and the fact that Whitney wouldn’t sign off to release the second season of Being Bobby Brown, this is good news for hios broke a$$. SMH.

Despite their being divorced for more than a year now, tabloid spies say legendary powerhouse Whitney “Crack Is Wack” Houston is still financially supporting her broke ex-husband Bobby “King Of Rocks” Brown.

“Bobby’s pretty much broke,” a National Enquirer spie says, “He’s trying desperately to land reality show gigs but he keeps going back to Whitney for handouts.  She reportedly gives him 10 grand here, 10 grand there.”

“She feels bad for sometimes. He got used to a certain lifestyle with her, and she’s never completely washed him out of her hair,” the source adds.

The two have been in the news in recent months when Brown accused Houston of blocking him from earning a living when she refused to sign off on footage for the second season of their reality show “Being Bobby Brown”. Brown and his twisted mouth were furious because the show would have provided him with major income to buy more rocks with. Brown recently appeared on the reality show “Gone Country” where contestants compete to see who will make the best Country music singer. SMH !!!

Posterchild for crack abuse, BOBBY BROWN, is planning to wed again after confirming he and manager/girlfriend ALICIA ETHEREDGE are an item. Brown was with Etheredge when he reportedly suffered a minor heart attack last year (Oct07) - but it has taken him almost a year to confirm the romance. Now he tells Sister 2 Sister magazine he’s mad about Etheredge.

He says, “That one (relationship) is gonna work ’cause I’m gonna make it work.”
Etheredge has always maintained she and Brown are longtime friends and business partners - but she hopes to be the one when Brown chooses to settle down again. In an interview last year (07), she said, “I think that Bobby is a big romantic and really does believe in love. “His parents are still married after all these years and I think that he will find that again.”

This chick must be smoking those rocks to if she’s really going to marry this fool. Since she’s his manager maybe she has some serious stacks lined up for the “King of R&B” (the R&B stands for Rocks and Bulls#@) and she plans to cash in.
