Britney Spears’ ex-boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, has shot down claims that he is trying to sell a sex tape featuring the star. Earlier in the week, a magazine reported that Ghalib confessed to video-taping the pair having sex during a trip to Mexico. Supposedly Spears was wearing nothing but a pink wig in the video.

Now Ghalib has told Star magazine that the story is a lie, and he is threatening to sue over the “false reports”. “There is no sex tape and I’ve never claimed there is one” “I don’t know where these quotes I’m supposed to have said have come from. What I do know is they certainly didn’t come from me and they are completely false. I’m extremely upset and distressed and I’m taking legal action… This story has caused a lot of hurt to my family and people close to me”, “There is no sex tape. That is the end of the matter” Ghalib said.

Britney Spears is set to bid for her own sex tape.

Ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, 35, is said to be touting the alleged X-rated footage - which reportedly features a naked Britney wearing a pink wig and engaged in various sex acts - for £5 million to several adult websites.

The ‘Womanizer’ singer is reportedly desperate to get hold of the tape, and is prepared to pay “whatever it costs” to protect her reputation and keep the tape out of the public eye.

A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “Britney’s lawyers have been working overtime. They’ve been told to do whatever it takes to stop the video making it onto the internet.”

However, a source close to Britney has denied the sex tape exists outright, saying: “Ghalib’s story is completely false.”

Rumours of the footage first surfaced in May, when paparazzi photographer Adnan reportedly first tried to sell a two-hour tape - said to include Britney stripping, a long session of foreplay and twenty minutes of full sex between Britney and Adnan.

The tape was reportedly made while the couple holidayed in Mexico in January, just before Britney’s public meltdown which saw her hospitalised twice for mental health related issues.

X-rated footage of Britney and ex-husband Kevin Federline also reportedly exists but has never been released to the public, although a fake clip of a Britney look-a-like performing oral sex surfaced earlier this year.

Britney is currently riding high after a successful comeback at the MTV Video Music Awards where she scooped three prizes.

She has also announced she will be embarking on a world tour next year, in support of forthcoming album ‘Circus’, released on December 2.

Adnan Ghalib, the British pap whom Britney Spears dated during her breakdown, says he has a sextape of he and Spears and will sell it to he highest bidder.  “There is such a tape, but I won’t discuss prices for hypothetical inquiries”, “Unless there is a locked-in deal, I will go no further” Ghalib told Heat magazine.

Sources claim that the2 hour X-rated video shows Spears naked wearing just a pink wig and was allegedly shot while on vacation in Mexico.

“I am not interested in selling out any other details about Britney “ Ghalib added.

That’s some slimy sh** right there. I can’t uderstand for the life of me why women continue to make these videos with guys but I can’t wait to see Britney get that a$$ tossed up. LOL.

Britney Spears is filming the music video for her new single Womanizer which is being directed by Joseph Kahn.  Kahn also directed Toxic.  Spears portrays a waitress in the video.

Spears was pictured wearing a black wig and red lipstick while filming on Wednesday at a lounge in  Los Angeles. She was accompanied by a troupe of dancers, who arrived at the shoot dressed in waiter uniforms.

Womanizer is the first single from Spears’ new album, Circus which is expected to be released in October.

In a recent interview, singer/songwriter Ne-Yo was asked whether he would be working with Britney Spears on her upcoming album. He responded “No” ! He went on to say that he feels that there is still bad blood on Britney and her management’s side because of a situation that happened while working on Britney’s Blackout album. Ne-Yo had penned several songs for Spears which ended up being recorded by Beyonce, Rihanna and Nicole Scherzinger. Ne-Yo had this to say about the disagreement:

“I heard that she was upset with me, and you know, I don’t care,” “We set up multiple sessions where she was supposed to actually come in and give her input on the songs, but she never showed up. OK, she’s goin’ through some things - whatever, fine. This was before the whole shaving of the head thing, but after that happened, her people stopped returnin’ phone calls.” I ain’t heard from her people again and I know she’s back in the studio now, but I would work with her again if she wanted to. Like my door swings both ways. I ain’t got no beef with her, no drama or nothin’ like that, but I’m not about to call them like, ‘Hey, we should get together.’ I’m not about to do that.”

Ne-Yo had written six to eight songs for Britney’s Blackout album. According to Ne-Yo, the singer’s management  never paid him, and Spears even missed multiple recording sessions.

The single “Womanizer” from Britney Spears’ new album has leaked on to the Internet.

The eagerly anticipated song was set to hit the airwaves in the U.S. next week (beg22Sep08), but has been partly uploaded online and can be heard through Nashville radio station 107.5 The River’s website.
According to Usweekly.com, the tune features sexy lyrics, with Spears’ singing, “Boy don’t try to front/I know just what gets you off”.

The song is taken from Spears’ forthcoming LP Circus, which she has hailed as her best work yet, and is slated for a December release to coincide with her 27th birthday.
The album is said to mark a return to form for the pop superstar after a year of erratic behaviour, which came to a shocking end earlier this year (08) as she entered a psychiatric ward and lost custody of her two young sons.

Brit Brit is ready to $hit on the haters:

Britney Spears has confirmed her new album Circus is finished and will be released in December.

The LP - a follow-up to 2007’s Blackout - was originally scheduled to hit shops later next year.

But rumours suggested that bosses at Spears’ music label, Jive Records, were keen to push the release date forward to take advantage of her current popularity.

The Toxic hitmaker has won favour with the public, as well as three coveted MTV Video Music Awards, after bouncing back from her public breakdown earlier this year.

And now label chiefs have confirmed that the record will be released on 1 December, to coincide with the star’s 27th birthday the next day.

The first single to be taken from the album is titled Womanizer.

I have to admit that Britney was looking fine as hell at the VMA’s. She hasn’t looked that good in awhile. Hope she has success with this album.

Britney Spears could release her new album as early as this year, according to new reports.

The Toxic hitmaker is currently working on a follow-up to 2007 LP Blackout and the singer recently admitted the new release will not be hitting shops until next year.

But now new reports claim that executives at Spears’ music label, Jive Records, are planning to rush the album out early to take advantage of her current popularity.

Spears has won favour with the public after appearing to sort her life out following her public breakdown earlier this year (Jan08).

A source tells The Sun, “Britney’s last album, Blackout, was released in the middle of her meltdown and carried negative associations. It did OK but wasn’t as big as her previous releases.

“Label chiefs vowed her private life would never be allowed to overshadow her career again. However, they’ve been astonished by how well she’s managed to piece her life back together.

Athletes are known to listen to music that fires them up just before they compete. If you watch NBA basketball you are sure to see shots of Lebron James or Dwayne Wade sitting in the locker room with an ipod on just before tipoff. James says his music of choice before a game is anything by his good friend and rapper Jay-Z. Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson loved to listen to the late 2Pac beore a battle in the ring. I can understand those choices. In an interview with Venus Williams she was asked what music she listens to before a match. Her answer you ask ?? Britney Spears ??? Yeah you heard me right, I said Britney Spears !!! Who the he@% listens to Britney Spears to get pumped up before competition ? I love you Venus but you’re losing me here. Whats going on ?

I dont know, maybe it’s working. She won Wimbledon this year and has been playing great tennis for a while now. Maybe some of these other athletes need to listen to Britney.  The Miami Dolphins definitely could’ve used some help last season so lets get Britney’s cd for them this year. Maybe Tobe Kobe Bryant and the rest of the Lakers should’ve been listening to Britney in the finals against Boston. With that big a$$ payroll and nothing to show for it, the Yankees definitely should be listening to some Britney.

I guess Brit Brit took the advice of her naysayers and decided to sit this one out.

“I think for Britney, people are rooting for her, and she’s really on the road to recovery,” Toffler said, noting that MTV had nominated her for three VMAs, including video of the year, for her clip “Piece of Me.”

“It feels like it’s her year,” he added. “It’s our 25th anniversary of the VMAs, and she’s been such a critical piece of MTV’s history.”

Spears also equals ratings gold: Last year’s VMAs were up 23 percent over the 2006 show.

So far, the confirmed performers for Sunday’s show include the Jonas Brothers, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, T.I. and Kid Rock. Toffler also raised the possibility of another troubled pop icon appearing: Michael Jackson.

“We’ve been talking to him as well, I don’t know if that’s going to happen,” he said. “People fall in and fall out up until the day of the show.”

It’s Britney, baby, one more time. Despite her train-wreck performance at the MTV Video Music Awards last year, the network confirms Spears will kick off the show once again.

But it won’t be a performance. Instead, MTV Networks Music Group President Van Toffler said it’ll be something “fun and unexpected” on Sunday night’s show.

Unexpected is probably the kindest way to describe Spears’ performance at last year’s VMAs. In what was heavily promoted as the troubled singer’s comeback, she instead gave an unfocused, almost unwatchable performance of “Gimme More,” one of the many lowpoints in her year of debacles.

So what made Spears and MTV reunite one more time?

“MTV has long played an important role in my career. How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs? I’m excited to open the entire show, to say hi to my fans and to be nominated,” Spears said in a statement.

Glad to see her coming back. With the support of her true friends like Pharrell Williams, who offered her encouragement this week, she will be ok. The way that the media and comedians treated her during those hard times that she was having was disgusting.
