Another new single from the beautiful Cassie. This song is reminiscent of the “Beautiful Girls” song by that chubby Sean Kingston kid. This song will appeal to teenagers but that’s about it. I don’t know if Cassie and her camp have another “Me N U” type of hit in them. If they do, they haven’t shown it yet on this new album that they are preparing (which doesn’t even have a release date anymore). What do you think of the song ?
This is a new single from Cassie’s sophomore album which has been pushed back from a December release to early 2009. The name of the song is “Leave You A Message”. It’s a cool slow song just to listen to but nothing special. What do you think ?
For the last few weeks rumors have been swirling that Bad Boy artist Cassie was joining the girl group Danity Kane. A fake message from supposedly from Cassie had been making it’s way all over the net which contained several mispelled words (hint). Danity Kane’s breakup has been rumored for over a year and came to reality on the season finale of “Making The Band’ when label owner Sean “Diddy” Combs tossed Aubrey O’Day and D Woods from the group which left them with 3 members (Shannon Bex, Aundrea Fimbres and Dawn Richard). Then after frustration began to mount, Shannon decided she was finished with the group and quit which made the group a duo. Cassie has been maligned by the media and music fans since her debut because of her disastrous performances during the beginning of her career. Most notably was a performance by the singer on BET’s hit show 106 and Park where she struggled with the vocals to her hit song “Me N U” and had difficulty executing the dance moves. After the performance Cassie openly admitted that she was nervous. Since then, people wondered would she ever make it as a solo artist which gave fuel to the rumors that she was joining Danity Kane. But they are just rumors. Cassie recently released this statement:

A friend of mine forwarded me a link to a site with a made up quote about me joining Danity Kane. I want to make it clear to everyone that I am not joining Danity Kane! My second solo album is coming out in the Spring of ‘09 and I’m very excited about that.
I don’t know where the fake message came from, but I know for a fact that it didn’t come from me.

Damn !!! All that talk about Cassie being to skinny is out the door because Cassie is a certified banger. I didn’t even realize anybody else was in some of the pictures with her at first (sorry Solange). Remember, the skinny girls always end up being fine as hell in the future. Word is that Sean “P. Diddy Combs” is telling his close friends that the woman that he has been seeing recently is not his only love interest at the moment. Spies from the New York Post report that Cassie was very visibly upset the other night at the Empire Hotel. Both were there but Cassie was being accompanied by one of Comb’s assistants while he mingled. She spent the whole evening frowning and watching Diddy from afar hoping to see some interest from him that she neveer recieved. Damn shame because thats one beautiful senorita right there.
P.S. - When did Diddy become such a lady killer ? I remember the days when women said that he wasn’t attractive at all. Oh I forgot, The Forbes list. Having millions makes men much more attractive. Right Ladies ?
