Just more of Shitty Diddy being full of himself:
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is so sure he will be picked as the first black James Bond - he has splashed out over $600,000 on making an audition tape for the part.
The hip hop mogul has previously spoken of his desire to play an African-American incarnation of the suave superspy, and has set plans in motion to ensure he lands the coveted role.
Combs travelled to the luxurious South of France to film the promo near the Casino Royale; the inspiration behind current blonde Bond Daniel Craig’s debut film in the long-running franchise.
The rapper took to the skies in a helicopter, wearing a tuxedo and surrounded by his very own Bond girls.
And the star is adamant that after Craig has surrendered his license to kill, he will be in line for the part - because of U.S. president-elect Barack Obama’s historical victory at the American election earlier this month.
He tells Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, “This is my audition tape for the next James Bond. There is a black president and it’s time for there to be a black Bond.”
But he’s facing some stiff competition - R&B hitmaker Akon and Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx are also reportedly keen to play the legendary secret agent.
I’ve seen Diddy in several films and all that I can say is he should stick to his day job.

Music Mogul, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, says that he wasn’t Black enough to star in the in Stiller’s “Tropic Thunder” film.
Combs admits that he auditioned for the role of an African-American actor which was famously portrayed by Caucasian star Robert Downey Jr. who used make-up to change the color of his skin for the role in Ben Stiller’s movie. Combs was turned down.
Combs joked: “I have not been in any of Ben Stiller’s movies. I guess I wasn’t black enough to be in Tropic Thunder. Robert Downey Jr. was a little bit blacker. I tried out for the role but I came up short. I put Ben in the video for my single Bad Boy for Life and I thought he would return the favor.”
Combs was among a host of celebrity guests at a black tie dinner honoring actor-turned-director Ben at New York’s The Museum of the Moving Image on Wednesday night.
Personally, I don’t think that Diddy could have pulled it off. I think that he and Beyonce give themselves a little too much credit when it comes to their acting skills. Also, I thought that the whole point of the way the script was written was that the character wasn’t really Black which is why the other Black character kept snapping on Downey Jr. for his remarks about being Black.

This guy is delusional. You don’t think so, read on then:
With the launch of his newest men’s fragrance on the horizon, Sean “Diddy” Combs is utilizing president-elect Barack Obama to promote the scent, in an effort to redefine the perception of African Americans.
The Wall Street Journal reports the rap mogul will appear in a black-and-white ad for the new I am King fragrance. The ad will be featured in magazines and on billboards across the country in December. Dressed as a black James Bond, Combs wears a white dinner jacket as he is seen on jet skis, in casinos and aboard a yacht on the French Riviera. Although the ads could come across with being out of touch with the current economy, Combs maintains that the promotion is reflective of what he labeled as an “affordable indulgence.”
“Everything on the market isn’t going to be attached to the bad economy,” he said. With Obama’s historic victory over Republican rival John McCain, Combs believes the time is now for marketers to shift their perception of the urban black male from the stereotypical person with lots of “bling,” to one of successful black men such as himself and Obama.
“It’s a new America and it’s our time,” the 39-year-old executive and avid Obama supporter told the Journal, adding that he plans to connect I am King and the president-elect, while promoting the scent on a series of TV talk shows.
As Obama prepares for his inauguration as the nation’s 44th president in January, talk among ad executives has centered around how the election could change advertising to and about African Americans.
I am King follows Combs’ previous fragrance Unforgiveable. The scent, which debuted in 2006, has gone on to join the mogul’s Sean Jean clothing line as a popular brand among consumers. To date, Sean Jean generates annual retail sales of about $525 million. Priced at $57, Combs’ I am King fragrance will be sold at Macy Inc. stores, just in time for the holidays.
Is this guy kidding ??? Black men unlike the stereotypical ones with “bling” ??? Diddy is the perfect example of what the stereotypical Black male is. Did he forget that he was arrested for attempted murder, has children from 3 women he never married, wears more diamonds than Liberace, has been involved in several shootings and is considered by many a womanizer. I admire his accomplishments but he embodies what America’s stereotypical view of the Black male. SMH.

First reality television makes millionaires out of idiots like Flava Flav, New York, Chance, Real, etc…, now Diddy gets a starring role on CSI. Oh Boy !!!
Rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is to take his acting ambitions to mainstream TV after landing a two-episode deal to guest on the world’s most-watched show Csi: Miami.
Diddy, who appeared in Jon Favreau film Made and then won a starring role in Broadway play A Raisin In The Sun, will play a federal prosecutor opposite David Caruso and the hit drama’s regulars.
The two back-to-back episodes will air in America early next year.
Television is truly going downhill !!!

Rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was reportedly left fuming after a young designer failed to decorate New York club Mansion NYC to his specifications for his recent birthday celebrations.
The Bad Boy Records boss turned 39 on Tuesday but decided to turn his party into a joint celebration to mark Barack Obama becoming the new U.S. President-elect. But according to the New York Post’s PageSix, he became infuriated with a designer hired to deck out the Chelsea club - and allegedly demanded a refund.
A source tells the publication, “He was given a budget of $7,000 and 12 hours to create an all-white decor, including 1,000 white roses, blow-ups (large pictures) of Diddy and Barack Obama, and $2,000 of white fabric. Diddy declared it dreadful and went into a major hissy fit, screaming, ‘Show me the receipts!’ and ‘Get the money back!’ to his assistant. “Then he began ripping the fabric off the walls saying he hated it. He berated the poor young decorator to the point that the guy gave back $2,000 of the money he had spent.”
What kind of a man throws a fit when he feels that the decorations for his party weren’t exactly what he was expecting ? Sounds more like something a woman would do to me. This guy is full of himself. SMH.

Rap and Fashion Mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs spoke on Sean John’s recent purchase of Liz Clairborne’s Enyce brand:
“Enyce is a brand that I have always admired, and they have been a very important player in the young men’s sportswear arena for over a decade. I am really excited to bring it into our portfolio of brands that already includes Sean John and Zac Posen. Given our track record of success in marketing products such as Ciroc Vodka, Unforgivable by Sean John, and all of our television titles, I look forward to adding our expertise to an already hot fashion line. Our long-term plan is to grow the Enyce brand through innovative marketing, expansion of the menswear and boy’s lines, and launching into new licensing categories. The current economic climate may be challenging, but we believe it is also an opportunity, and we are really excited to add Enyce to our lineup.”
Combs has been very successful with his Sean John brand so many expect for Enyce to do even better under his company’s umbrella.

Sean Combs, Puff Daddy, Puffy, P. Diddy, Diddy or whatver the hell he calls himself is one of the most popular music moguls in the history of Black Music. But Why? When you really look at it what great artists has he given us with longevity (besides Biggie who is of course deceased) and what has he really produced ? The artists that had real talent like Faith Evans and Carl Thomas never really took off like they should have. Then there are artists like New Edition and Eightball & MJG who were popular and should have benefited from the push that Bad Boy could give but the association seemed to backfire.
As a producer he was exposed years ago for doing nothing more than choosing the records to sample and instructing the real producers on adding things to the track that didn’t even have a melody. In an article done by Vibe Magazine in the 90’s, Bad Boy producers “The Hitmen” talked about how he would add a crash cymbal and claim to be a co-producer. Artists that chose to leave him found themselves struggling because of his unwillingness to completely release them from contractual obligations to Bad Boy which made it harder for them to earn with their new label. Just ask The Lox, 112 or Mase who he refused to release when 50 cent wanted him for G-Unit. To this day Diddy still controls The Lox publishing separately and collectively. There are enough artists whose careers Diddy killed to do a “Where Are They Now” television show. Think I’m over exxagerating ? Then tell me where are all of these artists :

Craig Mack gave us the hit "Flavor In Ya Ear" in 1994. He left Bad Boy in 1996 because of money issues and creative differences with Diddy. In an excerpt from the book Bad Boy , by Ro Ronin, it was revealed that Mack was so broke at one time after leaving the label that he resorted to pumping gas. Mack hasn't been heard from since.

Where is 112? They released several albums after leaving Bad Boy but never had the success that they expected. The group left the label over money issues and because they felt that there was a conflict having a label owner who was also an artist. The group complained that artists signed to the label did not receive the same marketing push that Diddy supplied to his own releases. 112 moved to Def Jam but had a tough time because Diddy would not release them. Bad Boy insisted on a joint deal which cut down the groups earnings.

Carl Thomas, now signed to Umbrella Records, hasn't had much success since his hits "I Wish I Never Met Her" and "Summer Rain" for Bad Boy. His new album "So Much Better " reached #25 on the Billboard Top 200 but sales are not good.

Mase was so disturbed by incidents surrounding Bad Boy that he retired in 1999 after his first album and shocked everyone by becoming a preacher. He returned in 2004 with the album 'Welcome Back" but did not want to return to Bad Boy. He tried to make a move to G-Unit but Diddy wouldn't cooperate. Once again as he did with 112, Diddy insisted on a joint deal which Mase and 50 were both against. Since then he has returned to Georgia to run Mason Betha Ministries and has a television show with his Wife Twyla.

Total released the albums "Total" in 1996 and "Kima, Keisha & Pam" in 1998. The "Total" album produced 4 hit singles including "Cant You See" and "Kissing You". The album went platinum. After the second album (which went gold but had no hits) Combs lost confidence in the group and they have been M.I.A since.

Black Rob scored a major hit with "Whoa" in 2000 from his album "Life Story". He returned in 2005 with "The Black Rob Report" which was a failure. In 2006 he was arrested for robbing a woman's hotel room and was sentenced to 7 years in prison.

G-Dep scored a major hit with the single "Special Delivery" from his album "Child Of The Ghetto" in 2001. Sales of the album were poor and Diddy shelfed him. He was arrested in 2007 when he slammed a phone at a T-Mobile store. His bail was only $750 but it took a month for him to come up with the money. He now records mixtapes again.

Dream was a girl group Bad Boy signed in 1999. They had one hit titled "He Loves U Not" from their first album "It Was All A Dream" in 2001. Bad Boy wanted a sexier image for the second album which the group and management did not want. In 2003 after the failure of the second album Bad Boy dropped the group.

New Edition signed with Bad Boy in 2002 and it took nearly 2 years to complete their album because of creative differences with Diddy. In 2004 they released the album "One Love". The first single released was "Hot2nite" which was not the single the group had agreed on with the label. This caused even more friction. The album was not received well and promotion on the album was halted prompting the group to ask for a release which they were granted in November 2005. The album went gold but was considered a failure for a group of their caliber. New Edition is currently signed to Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment and working on their 8th studio album.

Shyne signed to Bad Boy in 1999 and released the album "Shyne" which gave us the hits "Bad Boys" and "Bonnie & Shyne". He was an overnight success but caught much flack because of his sound being similar to Bad Boy's Late King, The Notorious B.I.G. Lil Kim was one of Shyne's biggest critics. Things went bad when Shyne accompanied Diddy and then girlfriend Jennifer Lopez to Club New York one night. A member of the bloods drew a gun on Diddy which prompted Shyne to pull his gun and fire into the ceiling. Diddy and Lopez hid under a table during the incident until his bodyguard arrived. Eventually Diddy, his bodyguard and Shyne were charged with assault and reckless endangerment. Only Shyne was convicted and he received no financial help from Diddy for his defense. Shyne was sentenced to 10 years on June 1, 2001. He has since left Bad Boy because he felt abandoned and signed with Def Jam. Shyne released the album "Godfather Buried Alive" in 2004 which surprisingly went gold. He is currently eligible for parole.

Eightball & MJG is a group considered royalty in the South and had garnered much underground success with their label Suave House. The group left the label in 1999 because of money issues with owner Tony Draper. They released 2 albums on their own backed by indies and then signed with long time friend Diddy in 2002. The duo released the album "Living Legends" in 2004 which sold 600,000 copies due to their solid fan base. As faithful fans listened to the album they were displeased with the production because it wasn't the classic Ball & MJG sound which was very unique. Fans blamed Diddy for trying to push the group to use tracks similar to the other popular acts in the South at the time. In 2007 they released "Ridin High" which was a failure selling only 237,000 copies. The group has since left Bad Boy and signed with T.I.'s Grand Hustle Label.

The Lox released their album Money, Power & Respect" in 1998. The album was a hit with fans but the group was in a battle with Diddy over their image. Bad Boy wanted to take the street vibe away from all artists and make them more commercial. The first battle was their name change. The group was originally called the Warlox and Diddy removed the "War" because it sounded violent. Then there was the issue of wardrobe. Shiny suits were not The Lox style but they were forced to wear the outfits. The group left Bad Boy and signed with Ruff Ryders. They released their second album "We Are The Streets" in 2000. The album was a success but after battling with Bad Boy over publishing rights and contractual obligations the group went into turmoil. There were several disses aimed at Diddy because the group claimed he was taking all of their publishing income. Eventually they began to seek solo deals but neither had major success. They have since changed their name to D-Block enjoying much mixtape success and plan to release their first collective effort in 8 years.

Cheri Dennis released her first album "In And Out Of Love" in February 2008 and has sold 64,000 copies to date. I'll end it right there.

Day 26 is the group that Diddy created from contestants on Making The Band 4. They released their first album "Day 26" in March 2008 and have sold 340,00 copies. The jury is still out on them. Can you name one song these guys made ?

B 5 is a group of brothers from St. Petersburg, FL that signed with Bad Boy in 2003. They were touted as the new Jackson 5 and did a remake of the Troop classic "All I Do". They released two albums, 2005's "B 5" and 2007's "Don't Talk, Just Listen", neither of which had major commercial success. The group left Bad Boy in 2008 because of creative differences and are presently signed to Atlantic Records.

Loon created a buzz for himself in 2002 on Diddy's single "I Need A Girl" but he was never taken seriuosly after people claimed that Diddy was just trying to replace Mase with someone that sounded like him. Loon released "Loon" on Bad Boy in 2003 and had two hits with "How You Want That" and "Down For Me". The album went gold. Loon left Bad Boy in 2004 and started his own label Boss Up Ent. He has since released 3 albums which have sold 75,000 copies combined. Jim Jones, who he has fueded with in the past, says that Loon tried to sell him a rigged up cellphone. SMH.

Danity Kane is the best move that Bad Boy has made in years. The group really is talented and have been well received by fans that are fickle about groups formed with reality show winners. The girls released their first album "Danity Kane" in 2006. The album had mixed reviews but is certified platinum due to the success of the single "Show Stopper". The group then went through constant rumors of a breakup but returned in 2008 with the album "Welcome To The Dollhouse" which sold 236,000 copies in it's first week of release. Rumors are swirling again that the group is breaking up because Diddy is making group member Dawn (far right) a solo act. Time will tell.

Cassie signed to Bad Boy in 2005 after her myspace page racked up over 9 million plays. Her first single "Me&U" was a smash hit and things were looking great for the model turned actress. But her defining moment came on BET's 106 and Park when Cassie was to perform for all of her fans for the first time live. She was terrible. The singing was horrendous and the dancing was worse. To make matters worse she admitted it and said that she was nervous. Since then she has been vilified by music fans and the media as being nothing more than a pretty face which many feel is the problem with the music business today. Everyone seemed to take their frustrations out on Cassie and you could tell it took it's toll on her but she didn't quit. She promised to work hard and make a big comeback which she plans to do with the release of her new album coming this Fall.

Faith Evans is arguably the most successful artist from the Bad Boy roster. Faith enjoyed a string of 3 straight platinum albums with 1995's "Faith", 1998's 'Keep The Faith" and 2001's "Faithfully". She had memorable hits such as "Soon As I Get Home", "Love Like This" and "I Love You" but left the label in 2001 after having differences with Diddy (surprise). Even with all of the success of her albums her career never took off to the heights of artists like Mary J. Blige or Toni Braxton who she was in direct competition with. In 2002 she signed with Capitol Records and released the album "First Lady" in 2005. The album contained a collaboration with Chicago rapper Twista titled "Hope" and went gold. Since then she has recorded a Christmas album and has written a tell all book about her life that is the buzz on the internet.
I give credit where credit is due. The idea for this article came from a youtube video where a guy discusses Puffy being poison.
Rumors are swirling again around P. Diddy and Bad Boy. Diddy has been in the news all year with his on and off relationship with his ex girlfriend Kim Porter and rumored relationships with Cassie and Danity Kane member Aubrey O’day. Now comes talk that the mogul has been having a relationship with Danity Kane member Dawn who is supposedly dating Day 26 member Qwanell. It is being said that Diddy is preparing Dawn to go solo because he feels that she is the most talented group member. Recently he ripped Aubrey O’day for her dancing skills which he once praised her over. Group members are said to be upset about the special attention he is showing Dawn.
Boy if this is true this guy is doing quite well with the ladies. Having big stacks sure does make you look much more handsome to the ladies. SMH.
