As reported recently, West Coast singer Nate Dogg had a second stroke and was hospitalized. The situation was far worse than first reported. Internet reports said that Nate was doing well were untrue. His cousin, Donald Smith (AKA Lil Half Dead) told E! that nate has been on life support with a feeding tun=be placed in his mouth.
Nate is no longer on life support but he still is fed with a feeding tube. The stroke happened on September 5. His manager, Rod McGrew, says that his prognosis at the moment is favorable and they are feeling positive that he will be fine. Sources for TMZ have said that though he didn’t suffer any brain damage, he has little movement below the neck.
Nate Dogg, real name Nathaniel Hale, rose to fame along with his cousin Snoop Dogg as part of Death Row Records in the early 90’s. His first stroke was on December 19, 2007. Many blame Nate’s health problems on his rocky relationship with his enstranged wife. The two were involved in a high speed chase in L.A. that left Nate behind bars for Reckless Driving and making Terrorist Threats after his wife told police he threatened her life. A hearing for the charges were set for Sept 24 but were postponed due to his condition. He had been making progress after the first stroke with the help of physical therapy. Our prayers go out to his family who ask for privacy.

Good news about 1/3 of 213:
Sources are reporting that hip hop singer Nate Dogg is in recovering after suffering what has apparently been his second stroke in the last year.
The rumor is that Nate is using an assisted breathing tube, but remains in stable condition. It’s apparently too early to tell how this last stroke will impact the use of his limbs since the first stroke affected both, his legs and arms - “at this point there isn’t much movement from the neck down.” The source admitted.

Singer Nate Dogg, real name Nathaniel Hale, has suffered a 2nd stroke. Just 10 months ago the singer suffered his 1st stroke and was thought to be recovering. According to published reports, Hale is unable to breathe on his own and is listed in serious condition. The first stroke left Hale paralyzed on the left side of his body. He had been in the news much this year after several domestic disputes with his estranged wife.
Things got worse on June 23, 2008 when he was arrested by California Highway Patrol. That evening Hale was involved in a chase with his wife who claimed that he threatened her life. He was charged with making terrorist threats and driving with a suspended license. He was also sent to a facility for medical supervision. Hale rose to fame in the 90’s as part of the Death Row Records roster that ruled the Hip Hop world for years. He was featured singing the choruses on some of the labels biggest hits by artists like 2Pac and Snoop. His services began to be in greater demand after the success of Death Row artists and Hale became the go to guy for many Rap artists who wanted that soulful sound.
