Can O.J. Simpson’s Life Get Any Worse ? Yes !!!

The trainwreck that is O.J. Simpson’s life just keeps getting worse:

A Las Vegas judge ordered that the majority of sports memorabilia that cost O.J. Simpson his freedom must be sent back to Los Angeles and turned over to the County Sheriff’s Department, where the items’ ownership will be determined.

Should it be decided that the memorabilia belongs to Simpson, as he himself has long stated, it will likely be sold off at auction and go toward satisfying the outstanding wrongful death judgment awarded to the families of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown.

Las Vegas District Judge Jackie Glass also ruled during this morning’s brief hearing that O.J., along with co defendant Clarence “C.J.” Stewart and their cohorts, must pool their resources and shell out a combined $3,560 in restitution to wronged (and robbed at gunpoint) memorabilia dealer Bruce Fromong.

Fromong claimed he was left with $2,600 in medical bills due to his mid-heist rough-up.

At a separate hearing today in L.A., the other memorabilia targeted by Simpson, Alfred Beardsley, testified that he didn’t have Simpson’s NFL Hall of Fame ring, which the Goldman family is looking for.

I understand the pain of losing a loved one but the Goldmans are fucking parasites !!!! Oh yeah, and if the judge who sentenced O.J. in Vegas really wanted to prove that she wasn’t seeking payback for O.J. being acquitted for the murders of Brown and Goldman, why the hell did she even allow the Goldmans to attend his sentencing ??? She should not have let them be allowed in the courtroom.

O.J. Simpson Was Offered A Plea Deal With Less Time

O.J. Simpson Was Offered A Plea Deal With Less Time

Prosecutors in the Simpson case say that the offered the ex-football star and his accomplice a deal that would have given them a chance to serve far less time:

O.J. Simpson is headed to prison for at least nine years, but a prosecutor says the former football star could have spent less time behind bars if he had accepted a plea deal before he was convicted.

Clark County District Attorney David Roger said Simpson was offered a deal for less prison time than the nine- to 33-year prison terms the graying former football star was sentenced to on Friday for kidnapping and assaulting two sports memorabilia dealers with a deadly weapon.

“Mr. Simpson wanted something just short of a public apology,” Roger said. “We didn’t think that was appropriate.”

Roger did not offer specifics of the deal and Simpson’s defense lawyers declined to discuss details.

“There was nothing that was palatable. Nothing acceptable,” Simpson lawyer Yale Galanter said.

Co-defendant Clarence “C.J.” Stewart also rejected a deal that would have had him plead guilty to unspecified reduced charges in return for a promised sentence less than the 7 1/2 to 27 years he received, the prosecutor and defense lawyers said.

“It was a universal deal,” said Stewart’s lawyer, Brent Bryson. “Both defendants had to accept it. As we know, that didn’t happen.”

An emotional and hoarse Simpson said nothing about plea deals when he stood in shackles and blue jail garb and apologized before he was sentenced by Clark County District Court Judge Jackie Glass.

As arrogant as O.J. is it’s no wonder that he wouldn’t take the deal. In the beginning, no one thought that the prosecution had a case against him until all of the recordings and videotapes came out. Seems like a classic setup to finally nab a man who most of White America has been wanting behind bars since the murders in 1994. But it’s hard to feel sorry for a man who was given a second chance at life only because he was able to afford  a team of top notch lawyers and scientists that convinced the jury that there was indeed reasonable doubt. The average citizen would have been convicted of those murders even though most of the evidence was circumstantial.

O.J. Simpson Sentenced To 15 Years In Prison

O.J. Simpson Sentenced To 15 Years In Prison

Well, they finally squeezed the juice:

With tears in his eyes, fallen football legend O.J. Simpson Friday apologized for an armed robbery on a hotel room as he faced a stiff jail term of a minimum of six years.

“I’m sorry,” Simpson said as he stood to address judge Jackie Glass after she rejected a defense request not to imprison the former sports giant, found guilty of 12 charges in a 2007 armed robbery and kidnapping case.

“I did not know that I was doing anything illegal. I thought that I was confronting friends and retrieving my property. So I am sorry. I am sorry for all of it,” Simpson said, his voice trembling as he fought back tears.

Earlier, looking nervous and dressed in a blue prison uniform, Simpson listened intently as his lawyer Yale Galanter asked Glass not to imprison his client, but the judge denied that request.

Judge Glass said that Simpson was “Arrogant and Stupid” and that he knew exactly what he was doing on the day he and several men stormed into the hotel room in Vegas.

After explaining to Simpson that she was sentencing him totally on the facts of this case and not any of his prior involvements with the law, Judge Glass sentenced co-defendant C.J. Stewart to 15 years in prison then Simpson to the same fate. Many were surprised at the sentence because the prosecution spoke up for Stewart stating that he should face a sentence less severe than that of Simpson.

Simpson and Stewart both received credit for time served of 64 days and will not be eligible for parole for 7 and a half years.

O.J. Simpson’s Defense Asks For Minimum 6 Year Sentence

I still can’t believe that this guy got arrested again after being acquitted of murders in the most popular trial in history:

O.J. Simpson’s lawyers have asked he receive the minimum sentence of six years in prison for his October robbery and kidnapping conviction, calling a recommendation of 18 years “inappropriate and knee-jerk.”

Simpson, famously cleared of double-murder charges in the “Trial of the Century” in the 1990s, was found guilty on October 3 in the armed robbery of a pair of memorabilia collectors at the Palace Station hotel and casino in Las Vegas.

The 61-year-old former football star and his co-defendant, Clarence “C.J.” Stewart, are scheduled for sentencing on Friday and could face life in prison for their conspiracy, burglary, kidnapping, robbery and assault convictions.

“Simpson has never previously been convicted of a crime. Thus, he now stands before the court as a first-time offender,” defense attorney Gabriel Grasso told the judge in court papers filed in advance of Friday’s sentencing hearing.

Grasso called for Simpson to be given the minimum term of six years behind bars, adding, “Such a sentence would be a sufficient reflection of both the nature of the case as well as the first-time offender status of the defendant.”

A report filed by the probation officials has not been made public, but according to the defense, it calls for Simpson and Stewart, 54, to be sentenced to 18 years behind bars.

Grasso called the report “invalid” because he said probation officials had not followed the usual rules, which he said require them to assign each defendant a score based on factors that include prior criminal history.

“The defense would further suggest that if a valid … score were present within this report it would not support the completely inappropriate and knee-jerk recommendation,” Grasso wrote in his brief.

Simpson’s ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman were stabbed and slashed to death on June 12, 1994, and the popular former athlete known as “The Juice” was charged.

He was acquitted on October 3, 1995, at the end of a yearlong trial that was carried live on U.S. television and transfixed much of the world.

A civil court jury later found Simpson liable for the deaths and ordered him to pay $33.5 million in damages to the victims’ families, a judgment that remains largely unpaid.

All I have to say about Big Head is  SMH !!!

O.J. Simpson Retrial Is Denied

The Juice Got Squeezed Again:O.J.’s last squeeze came up empty.

A Nevada judge denied O.J. Simpson’s bid for a new trial on Friday, saying his lawyers’ arguments weren’t strong enough for a new hearing.

The Heisman winner and his codefendant Clarence “C.J.” Stewart were convicted in October for robbing two sports memorabilia collectors at gunpoint in a Las Vegas hotel room.

Clark County District Judge Jackie Glass also denied requests to release them on bail before their Dec. 5 sentencing. The two face mandatory prison time and could spend the rest of their lives in jail.

Big Head O.J. Simpson Fears For His Life

Since being convicted of robbery and kidnapping charges in Las Vegas last week, O.J. Simpson’s new home has been a jail cell. The former USC standout and Heisman trophy winner is said to be scared $hitless of the Aryan Nation whom have made it clear that they plan to Squeeze The Juice:

“I’m a dead man!” the disgraced gridiron great declared when he phoned pals shortly after his conviction. Even as he sat in his dank Las Vegas jail cell just hours after jurors found him guilty of armed robbery and kidnapping, guards worried he would be marked for death. For his own safety, he was put in an isolation cell dubbed “the hole” by prisoners.

“He’s scared to death - so much so that he won’t eat, and he has been given medication for depression,” disclosed a source. Simpson has plummeted to such depths of despair, revealed an insider, “he was put on suicide watch. Someone is watching him nearly every minute in case he tries to strangle himself with whatever he can find in his cell.”

“O.J. has two major things working against him as he heads to prison - he killed two white people and he’s a celebrity,” a Nevada prison system insider told the Enquirer. “He’s a target for the Aryan Warriors, a very powerful and deadly prison gang whose members want to finally deliver O.J. fatal justice. They’re waiting for him to arrive - it’s going to be like tossing meat to the wolves. He’ll be dead within weeks.”

Dumb A$$ O.J. Simpson In Shock

Dumb A$$ O.J. Simpson In Shock

O.J. Simpson jurors said Sunday night the Juice convicted himself with his own words - and they bristled at suggestions they are racists.

The panel said secretly recorded tapes of the football great discussing the botched gunpoint memorabilia heist in a Sin City hotel room sealed his fate.

“The laws that were laid out were the laws,” juror Dora Pettit said. “And they were clearly broken.”

The jurors also rejected complaints by Simpson’s lawyers that the panel was biased against Simpson because there were no blacks among them. One juror identified herself in a court questionnaire as Hispanic.

“We’ve been painted as an all-white jury who hates O.J., and that’s just not true,” said Pettit, adding that she prayed for Simpson and doesn’t care if he does a day in prison.

After deliberating 13 hours Friday, the jury of nine women and three men found Simpson, 61, and pal Clarence (C.J.) Stewart guilty of all 12 criminal charges stemming from the Sept. 13, 2007 holdup.

The memorabilia dealers told cops Simpson had robbed them at gunpoint.

Simpson unsuccessfully maintained that he never saw a gun and only wanted to retrieve family heirlooms stolen by a former manager.

The jurors said at an extraordinary news conference that they virtually discounted the witnesses against Simpson, whom they branded as unreliable crooks trying to save their own skins.

Juror Michelle Lyons, 41, said a key piece of evidence was a postrobbery recording made at a restaurant in which Simpson acknowledged his pal Michael McClinton was packing his “piece.”

“We heard it quite clearly,” Lyons said. “And we heard it more times than anyone else heard it.”

Without the tapes, jurors would have almost certainly acquitted Simpson, they said.

“It would have been a very weak case,” Pettit said. Juror David Wieberg, 51, chimed in, “Yes, a weak case,” and other jurors nodded in agreement.

Asked why they convicted Stewart, 54, whom some observers pegged as a bit player, juror Teresa Owens said, “The thing that clinched it for me is he drove the car. …He came out of that room with items that didn’t belong to him.”

Added juror Consuelo Saldivar: “He didn’t leave. If he walked in and saw what was going on, he could have walked out.”

The jury also emphatically denied that they convicted Simpson to make up for his controversial 1995 acquittal in the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman.

In pretrial questionnaires, five of the 12 seated jurors admitted they disagreed with Simpson’s 1995 acquittal.

“I think he did it,” wrote juror Sheridan Eckart, 55, when asked her opinion on the murder trial. “But I wasn’t there to hear the case, so I really can’t say.”

Still, all 12 said they could “set aside” personal feelings.

Simpson lawyer Yale Galanter vowed to appeal the verdict.

“We are going to fast-track it,” Galanter said. “Our notice will be filed 30 seconds after he’s sentenced.”

Simpson’s kidnapping charge carries a potential life sentence.

You had every chance to live a good life after the trial of the century O.J. You did this to yourself !!!

O.J. Simpson Found Guilty: The Party Has Started

O.J. Simpson Found Guilty: The Party Has Started

White folks all across the world are having a party now:

Thirteen years to the day after being acquitted of killing his wife and her friend in Los Angeles, O.J. Simpson was found guilty of robbing two sports-memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in a Las Vegas hotel room.

The 61-year-old former football star was convicted of all 12 counts late Friday after jurors deliberated for more than 13 hours. He released a heavy sigh as the charges were read and was immediately taken into custody.

Simpson, who went from American sports idol to celebrity-in-exile after his murder acquittal, could spend the rest of his life in prison.

His attorney said he would appeal.

Many people considered the four-week trial justice delayed. Simpson was cleared in 1995 of murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman, in one of the most sensational trials of the 20th century, but was later found liable for the deaths in a civil case.

“I don’t like to use the word payback,” defense attorney Yale Galanter said. “I can tell you from the beginning my biggest concern … was whether or not the jury would be able to separate their very strong feelings about Mr. Simpson and judge him fairly and honestly.”

The Hall of Fame football star was convicted of kidnapping, armed robbery and 10 other charges for gathering up five men a year ago and storming into a room at a hotel-casino, where the group seized several game balls, plaques and photos. Prosecutors said two of the men with him were armed; one of them said Simpson asked him to bring a gun.

Simpson’s co-defendant, Clarence “C.J.” Stewart, 54, also was found guilty on all charges and taken into custody.

Simpson showed little emotion as officers handcuffed him and walked him out of the courtroom. His sister, Carmelita Durio, sobbed behind him in the arms of Simpson’s friend, Tom Scotto, who said “I love you” as Simpson passed by. As spectators left the courtroom, Durio collapsed.

Jurors made no eye contact with the defendants as they entered the courtroom. They declined to answer questions after the verdict was read.

Galanter said his client had expected the outcome, and in a courthouse conversation with an Associated Press reporter on Thursday, Simpson had implied as much.

Simpson said he was “afraid that I won’t get to go to my kids’ college graduations after I managed to get them through college.”

Galanter said it was not a happy day for anybody. “His only hope is the appellate process,” he said.

Clark County spokesman Dan Kulin said prosecutors would not comment until the case was “completely resolved.”

Judge Jackie Glass made no comment other than to thank the jury for its service and to deny motions for the defendants to be released on bail.

She refused to give the lawyers extended time to file a motion for new trial, which under Nevada law must be filed within seven days. The attorneys said they needed time to submit a voluminous record.

“I’ve sat through the trial,” Glass said. “If you want a motion for new trial, send me something.”

Stewart’s attorney, Brent Bryson, also promised to appeal.

“If there was ever a case that should have been severed in the history of jurisprudence, it’s this case,” he said of unsuccessful attempts to separate Stewart’s case from Simpson’s because of the “spillover” effect.

From the beginning, Simpson and his lawyers argued the incident was not a robbery, but an attempt to reclaim mementos that had been stolen from him. He said he did not ask anyone to bring a weapon and did not see any guns.

The defense portrayed Simpson as a victim of shady characters who wanted to make a buck off his famous name, and police officers who saw his arrest as an opportunity to “get” him and avenge his acquittal.

Prosecutors said Simpson’s ownership of the memorabilia was irrelevant; it was still a crime to try to take things by force.

“When they went into that room and forced the victims to the far side of the room, pulling out guns and yelling, `Don’t let anybody out of here!’ - six very large people detaining these two victims in the room with the intent to take property through force or violence from them - that’s kidnapping,” prosecutor David Roger said.

Kidnapping is punishable by five years to life in prison. Armed robbery carries a mandatory sentence of at least two years behind bars, and could bring as much as 30. Sentencing was set for Dec. 5.

Simpson, who now lives in Miami, did not testify but was heard on a recording of the confrontation screaming that the dealers had stolen his property. “Don’t let nobody out of this room,” he declared and told the other men to scoop up his items, which included a photo of Simpson with former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover.

Four other men charged in the case struck plea bargains that saved them from potential prison sentences in return for their testimony. Some of them had criminal records or were otherwise compromised in some way. One, for example, was an alleged pimp who testified he had a revelation from God telling him to take a plea bargain.

Memorabilia dealer Thomas Riccio, who arranged and secretly recorded the hotel-room confrontation, said he netted $210,000 from the media for the tapes.

Similarly, minutes after the Sept. 13, 2007, incident, one of the alleged victims, sports-memorabilia dealer Alfred Beardsley, was calling news outlets, and the other, Bruce Fromong, spoke of getting “big money” from the case.

Simpson’s past haunted the case. Las Vegas police officers were heard in the recordings chuckling over Simpson’s misfortune and crowing that if Los Angeles couldn’t “get” him, they would.

During jury selection, Simpson’s lawyers expressed fears that people who believed he got away with murder might see this case as a chance to right a wrong.

As a result, an usually large pool of 500 potential jurors was called, and they were given a 26-page questionnaire. Half were almost instantly eliminated after expressing strong feelings that Simpson should have been convicted of murder.

The judge instructed the jurors to put aside Simpson’s earlier case.

In closing arguments, Galanter acknowledged that what Simpson did to recover his memorabilia was not right. “But being stupid, and being frustrated is not being a criminal,” he said.

He added: “This case has taken on a life of its own because of Mr. Simpson’s involvement. You know that. I know that. Every cooperator, every person who had a gun, every person who had an ulterior motive, every person who signed a book deal, every person who got paid money, the police, the district attorney’s office, is only interested in one thing: Mr. Simpson.”

O.J. Simpson has the perfect name because he is a Simp. This man had every opportunity in the world to live a comfortable life after being acquitted on murder charges in the most publicized criminal case in history. It’s obvious that feelings about the case were basically split along racial lines. The truth is that many whites in the U.S. have wanted payback since Simpson was acquitted of the murder charges and now they have it. The saddest thing about this whole situation is that if Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman were white, no one would’ve cared about the case, the trial would not have been televised and Simpson would not have received all of the backlash from white America.  It’s funny that there was just as much physical evidence against Robert Blake (who was a big Hollywood star) in his murder trial but his trial wasn’t televised and since his aquittal he hasn’t been subjected to the backlash Simpson has. I’m sure that when Phil Spector walks white America won’t care about that either. Bottom line, O.J. is and always will be a dumba$$.

Jury Begins Deliberations At Big Head O.J. Simpson’s Trial

Jury Begins Deliberations At Big Head O.J. Simpson’s Trial

Once again it’s time for the juice to face the music and this time with an all white jury:

A Las Vegas jury is expected to begin deliberations on Friday at O.J. Simpson’s robbery and kidnapping trial.

Closing arguments before the jury of nine women and three men concluded on Thursday.

Simpson, 61, and co-defendant Clarence (C.J.) Stewart, 54, have pleaded not guilty to 12 charges, including kidnapping, armed robbery and conspiracy.

The co-defendants allegedly robbed two sports memorabilia dealers at a casino hotel room in Las Vegas in September 2007.

Each man could face five years to life in prison if convicted.

Simpson has claimed that the dealers had property that had been stolen from him.

In closing arguments on Thursday, the prosecution maintained that Simpson recruited a pack of men to pull off an armed robbery and kidnapping.

None of the five men initially charged with Simpson cared about the memorabilia, Clark County District Attorney David Roger said.

“But there was one person, and that was defendant Simpson,” said Roger. “He is the person who put these crimes together. He is the one who recruited these individuals to help him commit the crimes.”

The prosecutor also argued that detaining individuals with the intent to commit robbery is kidnapping.

Simpson’s lawyer, Yale Galanter, argued the former football star’s effort to get items back from the memorabilia dealers was a mistake but not a crime.

“Being stupid and being frustrated is not being a crook,” Galanter said.

Galanter also told the Las Vegas court that Simpson was a victim of witnesses with ulterior motives and police who were out to get him.

In 1995, Simpson was acquitted of charges he murdered his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. He was later found liable for the deaths in a civil case.

O.J. seems to have a desire to be in trouble. What guy escapes from murder charges in probably the most publicized case in history then turns around and gets arrested several more times when he has money ??? What a dumba$$ !!!

Key Witness In Simpson Case Takes Ill

Score 1 for the Juice:A key witness in OJ Simpson’s kidnapping and robbery trial has been taken ill.

Sports dealer Bruce Fromong - who says Simpson and his accomplices robbed him of memorabilia worth thousands of dollars at gunpoint in Las Vegas last year - clutched his chest before bailiffs helped him from the witness stand on Monday.

Fromong, who has suffered four heart attacks, was the first witness in the case at Sin City’s Clark County District Court.

A court spokesman says it is not known if Fromong would be able to resume his testimony on Tuesday.

O.J. better hope that a few more witnesses fall the hell out because that jury is out for blood. And the Goldmans coming on The View yesterday crying doesn’t help matters much.
