Something smells:
The makers of 3121 are none too happy with Prince’s performance.
Revelations Perfume and Cosmetics Inc. has sued the artist and Universal Music Publishing Group for $100,000, claiming that Prince and his record company failed to help peddle a scent inspired by his 2006 album 3121.
Per the lawsuit filed Monday in New York State Supreme Court, Revelations licensed Prince’s name and likeness to create two fragrances-3121, which came out last year, and another due in 2009.
According to court documents, while Revelations forked over $2.5 million for said privilege and promised to give Universal a 50 percent cut of the proceeds, Prince was supposed to be available in return for marketing purposes.
“Since July 2007, despite repeated attempts by Revelations there have been virtually no communications from anyone who could commit to or coordinate any promotional efforts by Prince,” the suit states.
Responding to the suit, which its legal team had not yet seen, Universal issued a statement calling the plaintiff’s claims “completely without merit.”

The Purple Rain singer sold out all gigs on the tour at the capital’s O2 Arena - a feat that surprised even the star himself.
He says, “This was a landmark event. No one believed that it would do what it did. …Everyone tried to talk me out of it.
“I couldn’t have sold out 21 nights in London in the peak of my career; it would have been an impossibility.”
And Prince hopes all artists will one day get the chance to do the same.
He adds, “I look forward to these years where everything is just open sky. I wish this for every artist: freedom.”

Pop star Rihanna is followed by screaming fans wherever she goes in the world. Recently some of them were actually screaming for someone else. Who you ask ? None other than his Purpleness, Prince!
While traveling in London last month, Rihanna was mistaken for the Purple Rain rocker.
“Some fans screamed out, ‘Prince!’ when they saw her,” says a witness. “But when they got close enough to ask for an autograph, they realized he was a she.” Now we all know that Prince has that he-she vibe going on but I’m sure that didn’t make RiRI feel any better. LOL !!

What the hell ? This is what we know Prince for. So now I guess he’s gonna sing gushy love songs. Oh Boy !!!
Prince has changed his ways and will no longer embrace his sexy past after Madonna finished what he started.
The Little Red Corvette hitmaker admits he has matured and no longer wants to write songs with sexual lyrics.
He tells USA Today newspaper, “My fans have kids. I have to be sensitive to their consciousness. I’ve grown, too. I did the Dirty Mind tour and pushed that envelope off the table. What I didn’t do, Madonna finished. I don’t want to go back. You have to get out of your own way.”
And the staunch Jehovah’s Witness also insists reading the Bible convinced him to tone down his act, adding: “That’s another way faith has changed me.”
Damn. Like I always say “If it ain’t broke dont fix it.”
