The situation for Chris Brown is getting much worse as Rihanna is not only cooperating with the police but is giving damning information that could help convict him:

Chris Brown and Rihanna seemed like the perfect couple to everyone, but after his recent arrest for felony battery, we’ve learned that it may not have been the first time that Chris raised a hand to her.

According to Police, Rihanna claims that Chris hit her in the past.  She also referred to their relationship as an escalating abusive one.

When Rihanna first spoke to LAPD she refused to tell them what started the argument that night. We’ve now learned that it was the result of another woman sending Chris a text message about meeting up later on in the night.

During the argument, according to the police report, she ordered him to drive her home and “faked a call” to someone, saying things like, “He’s dropping me off. Make sure the cops are there,” reports TMZ. This enraged Chris.

Chris supposedly then said something to the effect of “You really fu**ed up now. I’m going to kill you.” That’s when Chris allegedly began his violent attack with his fists.

During the attack, Rihanna took the car keys out of the ignition and threw them outside. He reportedly went outside to look for them, and returned back to the car and allegedly chocked her. That’s when she lost consciousness and a witness called 911.

According to Rihanna’s statement and her injuries Chris will definitely face a felony domestic battery charge, but it’s unclear at this time whether or not that’s the only charge he’ll get because evidence that he made criminal threats against Rihanna is kind of thin.

This doesn’t look good for Chris at all. If Rihanna testifies against him at trial it may be over for him.

Rihanna has finally spoken out about the incident that landed her then boyfriend Chris Brown in jail on Grammy night and it doesn’t look good for Chris:

According to E! News, Rihanna told the police Chris choked her while threatening to kill her. That caused her to lose consciousness. The two had just left Clive Davis’ Grammy party
on Saturday night in Chris/ Lamborghini. That’s when everything fell apart.

Chris pulled his car over in the Hancock Park area of LA, which is when Rihanna says she took the keys out of the ignition and tossed them out the window.

She says Chris then tried to go out and find the keys, and when he couldn’t, he put his hands around her neck and said, “I’m going to kill you!”

Rihanna says that she lost consciousness, and that when she came to, Chris had already left! Some boyfriend he is! Rihanna’s right eye was allegedly blackened and badly swollen and she had handprints on her arms.

The responding officers were so concerned about her, they drove Rihanna to the hospital in their squad car instead of waiting for an ambulance. Officers took two sets of photos of Rihanna: one at the scene and the second after she was admitted to Cedars-Sinai for treatment. Those pictures will most likely be used for evidence against Chris.

And speaking of Chris, we haven’t heard much from his camp since he was released from jail on Sunday night. We’re expecting a statement from his lawyer Mark Geragos or his publicist soon!

He can’t just run away from this situation that keeps sounding more and more serious!

Meanwhile, Chris Brown’s sister Lytrell Bundy, or Tootie as she’s called, has just spoken to Extra about her brother claiming he’s never been the violent type.

She says he’s never been one to get in fights. She tells them, “He’s always been a good boy — never violent.”

When asked about how Chris is dealing with his arrest and the fallout, Tootie confesses, “He’s doing good. He’s coping… He’s doing as… as to be expected.”

When asked about the siblings’ childhood together, Tootie says, “It was a normal sister and brother relationship. Nothing different, nothing strange.”

Gawd Damn Chris !!! Many thought that Rihanna would not be cooperating with the police, but I guess they were all wrong.

New information surfaces in the Rihanna - Brown assault case:

Showbusiness website TMZ.com claimed the alleged altercation that reportedly left Rihanna with “horrific” injuries started when Brown received a message on his phone from a female wanting to “hook up” with the performer. Rihanna, 20, was on her way home with Brown following a pre-Grammys event in LA when the disturbance occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning.

US TV network E! claimed that the alleged argument escalated when Rihanna threw the keys to Brown’s rented Lambourghini out of the car window during a row. A source told the channel that Brown was unable to locate the keys, and allegedly put his hands around Rihanna’s neck, and threatened her. TMZ reported that police photos showed the singer’s eyes to be “almost completely swollen shut”.

Police have confirmed that the Barbadian-born singer was heard screaming in the background of a 911 call made after the alleged beating. LAPD detective Deshon Andrews, the chief investigator in the case, said the call that led to Brown’s arrest mostly contained the sound of a “screaming woman”.

The crime report was filed under the award-winning singer’s real name, Robyn Fenty.

Rihanna is said to have suffered “horrific” injuries at the hands of her 19-year-old partner, including a swollen lip, black eye, facial contusions and bite marks on her fingers and arms. She sought treatment at the Cedars-Sinai hospital following the disturbance.

Multi-platinum selling performer Brown, who has previously condemned domestic violence after witnessing his mother being abused by his stepfather, handed himself in to police on Sunday night. He was charged with making criminal threats - defined as “a threat that is made to a person with the likelihood that it may occur” - and released on $50,000 bail. If convicted, he could face up to 9 years in prison.

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office has asked the LAPD to carry out more investigative work before deciding whether to file further charges against Brown.

Brown is already experiencing a commercial fall-out from the incident. Advertising campaigns for Doublemint chewing gum and the Milk Council featuring the star have been suspended, and some US radio stations have pulled his songs from the airwaves.

Rihanna has not been seen in public since the alleged assault. She has cancelled two concerts in Malaysia and the Indonesian capital Jakarta, with promoters citing “an assault case involving Rihanna’s boyfriend” as the reason. Organisers of her 21st birthday party, due to take place in New York next week, have confirmed that she will no longer be attending.

Brown has hired Mark Geragos, who represented Michael Jackson in his child molestation case and Winona Ryder in her high-profile shoplifting trial, as his lawyer.

Rihanna is “doing well”, according to her grandmother Clara Brathwaite.

Representatives for Brown have yet to comment on the case.

Rihanna was invited to work in Washington, D.C. on Inauguration Day.

The beautiful 20-year-old Grammy winner is the headliner for the Recording Industry Association of America’s charity ball to benefit Feeding America on Jan. 20, according to Access Hollywood.

“We are thrilled to have Rihanna’s participation in the inauguration charity ball,” Feeding America’s Vicky Escarra told Access. “As the prevalence of hunger in America increases at an unprecedented rate, we are most grateful to Rihanna and to RIAA for helping us bring greater visibility to this tragic reality and helping us feed millions more people in need.”

Nicole Richie fans should not get their hopes up:

“While Nicole respects Rihanna and thinks she is immensely talented, she is not currently working on an album and hence, not currently working with Rihanna as has been recently reported,” a rep for Richie, 27, tells Usmagazine.com.

Rumors of a collaboration stem from a New York newspaper, which reported Rihanna and Kelly Osbourne were “coaching Nicole and giving her tips on how to perform.”

While Richie was a member of an all-girls band named Darling in 2004, she’s currently focusing on her jewelry line, House of Harlow - which she named after her 11-month-old daughter.

A photographer won’t stop the music until Rihanna and Chris Brown have forked over $1 million.

Luis Santana, a shutterbug for Florida’s St. Petersburg Times, is suing the R&B crooners, claiming their bodyguards beat him and confiscated his camera after he caught them leaving the Vintage Ultra Lounge together in early May.

Santana tells E! News he was invited to the nightclub to take pictures of the twosome celebrating Brown’s 19th birthday. He said Brown’s bodyguards told him he could not photograph the couple inside the club, but he could shoot them in the parking lot.

“Once I snapped pictures of Chris and Rihanna, Chris jumped out of the limo and his bodyguards began chasing me,” Santana says.

“One of the guys ripped my shirt off and grabbed me. They threw me to the ground, and started kicking me. One of the guys put his knee in my face and was pressing down. I thought my jaw was going to break.”

Reps for Brown and Rihanna did not immediately respond to an E! News request for comment.

According to the police report “the suspects then took the victim’s camera, breaking it then leaving the scene in a black Excursion limousine.” No charges have been filed in the case, because, police say, of conflicting accounts of what transpired.

So Santana has gone the lawsuit route, filing his complaint yesterday. The action’s million-dollar price tag covers the cost of the camera, the photos lost and compensation for his injuries and emotional distress.

Despite their matching tattoos, the chart-toppers have steadfastly denied their togetherness, and Santana suspects this was the reason for their reaction.

“At the time they were just a rumored couple, ” Santana tells E! “Chris was celebrating his birthday with her and that was a huge photo. I guess they didn’t want it out.”

James Guttridge, owner of Vintage nightclub which is also named in the suit, tells E! News, “What happened was unfortunate but aside from being the host of the event, we had no part in the altercation.”
