T-Pain is currently promoting his new album “Thr33 Ringz” which was released today. In preparation for the promotion of the abum, T-Pain and his manager have made certain requests from the media that are very ‘DIVAish’. The requests are as follows:
“Please let interviewers know that Pain will only be discussing his album release on 11/11 and any other topics surrounding what he is currently doing.
He will only answer one question on Wayne and upcoming projects they have. No questions on picking favorite artists, who he would like to work with or any other kind of lists.
If you are fun with it that’s fine, and shoot out 5 cool questions relevant to what’s going on in his life cool [sic], otherwise he may he may [sic] get mad “
This T-Pain character is very full of himself lately. First his naming the album “Thr33 Ringz” and portraying himself as the Ring Leader of the music industry because so many people use Auto-Tune now. He has people actually so shook that they feel the need to call him and ask if they can use it like Kanye did. GTFOH !!! He’s running around saying that everybody is taking his style and using the vocoder sound. First off it’s not a vocoder. Using a vocoder is very complicated and most don’t want to go through the hassle. When Roger Troutman, Teddy Riley, Devante and countless other producers were using the Vocoder at the same time, not one of them complained about the others that were using the sound that Roger Troutman himself made so popular. At the BET Awards 2008, T-Pain was doing this slow walk on stage to make a spectacle of himself again. What’s up with this cat ? I like some of his music but he regards himself a little too highly. It’s not like he’s a Babyface, R. Kelly or Ne-Yo. If this new album is supposed to be an example of being the Ring Leader, maybe he should try the circus instead of the music industry because I think he might make a better clown.
T-Pain’s upcoming album “Thr33 Ringz” is as Pain put it more of a “Collaboration Album”. On “Therapy”, Teddy Pain collabs with none other than his Auto Tune Protege Kanye. The song is kinda hot. This is the best single from the album that I’ve heard since “I Can’t Believe It”. How do u like it ?

This is the third single from Ludacris’ upcoming album “Theatre Of The Mind”. The song features the self proclaimed “Ring Leader” of the music industry, T-Pain. The song is very radio friendly. The rhodes piano melody sounds as if it may have come from a Michael Jackson song. What do you think of “One More Drink” ?
Superstar Nelly has teamed up with Akon, T-Pain and Pharrell Williams to form a rap supergroup. Nelly, who was previously rumoured to be working with T.I., revealed his plans to join forces with his fellow rappers on a new record.
He tells America’s MTV website, “Me, Akon, T-Pain and Pharrell are talking about doing a project. We got a host of things we’re trying to do - possibly put together this new 2009 (Bell Biv DeVoe) type of thing.” Nelly isn’t worried about conflicted schedules getting in the way of the collaboration.
He adds, “I don’t think you try to put things together with people you don’t think you can accomplish (them) with. With ‘Kon, with Pain and Pharrell, I know it’s more about the music than anything. It’s about leaving something.
“I think we’re all OK as far as the money thing goes. I don’t think anybody is hurting. You wanna do things you can be remembered by. Make a mark. I think that’s something that’s foremost on all our minds.”
Williams is keeping quiet about the project: “Those are all my boys. I’m kinda like the only one that adheres to the oath of secrecy. I don’t wanna break that,” and refuses to reveal what direction the sound will take, adding, “Well, seeing as though I’m supposed to be upholding my end of the bargain of upholding my oath of secrecy, I’m not so sure of how to answer that question.”
This is new music from her self titled album that will hit shelves September 30 barring any changes. The song features T Pain and is a nice change up for the American Idol Alum. The song offers a more radio friendly and club like feel that actually works this time.
First Lil Wayne, then Birdman, Kanye West and now Ciara is using that annoying autotune effect like T-Pain. Oh Boy. When will it end ??? Many of these songs would have been great songs without that crap. Anyway this is the new single from Ciara’s third album “Fantasy Ride” due out this Fall. It’s called ‘Go Girl” and features T-Pain.
