Will Smith wants to make more Bad Boys movies.

Smith - who is married to actress Jada Pinkett Smith - says if his co-star Martin Lawrence is up for the challenge he would love to carry on the successful franchise.

Will says, “I would do up to Bad Boys 6 if I could. I have so much fun working with Martin Lawrence. I love Miami.

“It’s like that little boy fantasy is fast cars and girls and I got the gun and the bad guy’s always lose. It’s like I would make Bad Boys forever if I could.”

Showbiz Spy reported yesterday that Will is currently in talks for Hancock and I Am Legend sequels.

I hope that he does because they have a great chemistry. Both films were really good — I just hope that they get another good script.

Actor-rapper Will Smith is bringing the message of his new movie “Seven Pounds” to the Midwest with a promotional tour that also turned into a charitable fundraiser.

The film, which opens nationwide Friday, shows Smith portraying a suicidal man determined to change the lives of several strangers.

“If there’s a message, it’s ‘you gotta help somebody.’ Even if it’s somebody’s car breaking down, use your cell phone. Something little like that. We gotta help one another to get the quality of life we’re all striving for,” he said in an interview with the Star Tribune.

His appearance on Friday for the local premier at a theater in suburban Edina was also a fundraiser for Second Harvest Heartland, the state’s largest hunger relief organization. Tickets were given to the first 250 people who donated nonperishable food. Smith and Vikings player Bernard Berrian also donated 300 holiday dinners to the organization.

“It’s cool to have the goal of being the biggest movie star in the world. But why? It’s been revealed to me that the question is: Whose life is better because you woke up today?”

Smith said that he realized he had drifted out of contact with everyday people.

“I sat there with my children and my 16-year-old son couldn’t understand how I didn’t know (the election) was over already. He was like ‘You’re out of touch,’” he said.

Smith’s promotional tour also includes stops in Miami, Dallas, St. Louis, Cleveland, Denver and Charlotte, N.C.

Actress/singer Jada Pinkett Smith has one career goal she’s yet to achieve. Pinkett has revealed that she would like to direct her husband Will Smith on the big screen.

The Matrix Reloaded star admits the Hollywood couple is looking for the perfect project for them to tackle together with her behind the camera calling the shots.

And she reveals Hancock actor Smith was keen to take the lead role in the 2008 drama The Human Contract which Pinkett Smith wrote, directed and starred in.

The couple decided against working together on the project to prevent marital arguments.

She says, “Will wanted to do The Human Contract. He loved the male character but it’s so outside anything he’s ever done and we decided it would be best if he didn’t so that we would stay married!

But it is one of my dreams - to direct Will, but I don’t know if it would be in a big blockbuster. That’s not my style.”

Big-hearted movie star Will Smith took time out of promoting his forthcoming movie Seven Pounds to visit sick kids at Miami Children’s Hospital.

The actor thrilled young fans on Thursday when he made a surprise visit to the hospital’s wards to hand out gifts and sign autographs for ill children.

And after dishing out stuffed animals and DVDs, the star reportedly made a generous donation to help the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The Foundations president, Lucy Morillo, says, “We were deeply moved by Will Smith’s donation and the true spirit of joy he brought to the many young patients being treated here.

“We are very appreciative of his heartfelt support and honoured to have such a celebrated figure as part of our Miami Children’s Hospital family.”

Will Smith’s young son Jaden has landed the lead role in an upcoming remake of The Karate Kid, according to reports.

Jaden, 10, is Smith’s eldest son with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith and previously acted alongside his father in 2006 movie The Pursuit of Happyness.

And now the youngster looks set to start forging his own acting career with a role in a new version of the hit 1984 film - playing the part made famous by Ralph Macchio, according to Variety.com.

Oscar-winner Hilary Swank took over the main role in The Next Karate Kid in 1994.

The new film, which will see Smith take on a co-producer role, will be relocated to Beijing, China, but will explore the same themes as the original three pictures, with a bullied youth learning to stand up for himself with the help of a wise martial arts expert mentor.

Warner Bros. is reportedly planning to film a prequel to the blockbuster “I Am Legend.” The studio plans to have Will Smith reprise his role as scientist Robert Neville. Francis Lawrence will return to direct the film.

D.B. Weiss will write a script that is based on a detailed outline that was created over the past few months by Smith, Goldsman, Lassiter and Lawrence. The film will chronicle the final days of human existence in New York before a man-made virus caused a plague that left Smith’s character the only survivor among a mutated mob.

The studio recognized that they made a mistake in killing off Smith’s character and making a prequel was the only way to cash in on a film that grossed $584 million worldwide for Warner Bros. Making a prequel allows the studio to keep Smith in the lead role.

This year, news broke that Will had funded a school in suburban Los Angeles that used one of Scientology’s study programs. It seemed like Will and Jada were making a statement. But they didn’t actually make a statement.

Monday night, I ran into Mr. and Mrs. Smith at the premiere of “Lakeview Terrace,” which Will has produced with partner James Lassiter. Jada was there, too. And here’s the thing about Will and Jada: they are immensely likable. They are incredibly gracious. Even when Will’s overzealous security guard, the size of the Cleopatra column, attempted to block and neutralize me, Smith intervened quickly.

I told him I’d heard he’d given a press conference to the group called Anonymous, which protests Scientology.

“Not exactly a press conference, but I did talk to them,” he said. Mind you, Will had just gone to the buffet and was carrying a plate of food. This was up at the swanky new Empire Hotel rooftop following the premiere of “Lakeview,” which stars Samuel L. Jackson and Kerry Washington.

So, what’s the story? Is Will a Scientologist? “I am not,” he told me. The school is using one of Scientology’s teaching tools, but Will said, “You can take different parts of things you like and put them all together.”

If he starts jumping up and down on couches during interviews, then we should be worried.
