This video has been floating around the internet but all of the sites showing the video keep saying that Lebron bought a Phantom and a Ferrari for his 24th birthday. That isn’t true. Lebron was in Miami for his birthday because of a game against his Olympic teammate Dwayne Wade and the Miami Heat. He was staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami and had the cars dropped off to drive while he was in town. He and  Wade had dinner together for his birthday and ran up a several thousand dollar tab which Lebron picked up. Wade said “Hey, he’s got more money than me so why wouldn’t he pay.” Check out the whips below.

As cohost of TNT’s NBA coverage, Charles Barkley is always ready with a salty quip. And he’s still adept at giving a play-by-play when necessary.

Or, when totally unnecessary.

The portly former player, arrested on suspicion of DUI this morning, apparently got quite chummy with the Arizona cops who busted him, telling them in no uncertain terms why he was running a stop sign at 1:26 a.m.

The cops stopped Barkley after he allegedly ran a stop sign. According to the officer who wrote the report, “He told me that he ran the stop sign because he was in a hurry to pick up the girl I saw get in the passenger seat.”

The officer continues: “He asked me to admit that she was ‘hot.’ He asked me, ‘You want the truth?’ When I told him I did he said, ‘I was gonna drive around the corner and get a b**w job. He then explained that she had given him a ‘b**w job’ one week earlier and said it was the best one he had ever had in his life.”

The report says when Barkley was taken to the station, he told one of the employees, “I’ll tattoo my name on your ass” if he helped “get him out of the DUI.” According to the report, “He laughed and then quickly corrected himself and said, ‘I’ll tattoo your name on my ass’ and then laughed again.”

The report also says officers “found a handgun in the vehicle” which was immediately impounded. It was not said whether the handgun was legal.

Damn Sir Charles !!! A former NBA player and TNT analyst and you have to pick up prostitutes off of the street. Man you could at least be smart enough to just go into a stripclub and find a trick if you can’t get women any other way. SMH.

Its hard to believe that the cute and extremely talented kid from Good Times and Different Strokes ended up this way:

Gary Coleman, who makes it no secret that he likes his privacy and wants to be left alone, chose to settle in small-town Utah - far away from the paparazzi and autograph seekers of his former life as a TV star.

But a rocky romance, a prescription pill overdose and sometimes contentious interactions with the public have brought him unwanted attention here, where public records show a pattern of Coleman involving police in his personal life.

Officers have been called to assist or intervene with Coleman 21 times since he moved to Utah in fall 2005, according to police reports - including a July 2007 call where Coleman told authorities he had taken dozens of Oxycontin pills, was suicidal and “wanted to die.”

“Gary … was upset that his girlfriend was breaking up with him. He calmed down and was cooperative and acknowledged he took approx(imately) 30-40 Oxycontin pills. He said he is suicidal and ‘wanted to die,’” according to a police report.

Coleman could not be reached for comment. His phone number is unlisted, nobody answered a call button at his home and messages left with Coleman’s agent and an attorney were not immediately returned.

Coleman, 40, has acknowledged attempting suicide in the past, saying in a 1993 television interview he had tried to kill himself twice by overdosing on pills.

In April of this year, police were called to Coleman’s home because they were told he was having marital problems and threatened to harm himself, although police didn’t find him suicidal.

There are finally laws that prevent parents from spending all of the money earned by child stars as in the case of Gary Coleman. His adopted parents basically used him to live off of and left nothing for Gary. Once he got older and was no longer the cute kid with the ‘Chubby Cheeks’, there wasn’t many roles for him. If his parents had managed his money correctly, he could have lived his life with the millions he earned in the late 70’s to mid 80’s. SMH.

After a long process, William Balfour has finally been indicted for the horrific murders of the Hudson family:

A murder indictment was issued Tuesday against the man charged with killing the mother, brother and nephew of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson.

William Balfour had already been charged with three counts of first-degree murder, but a grand jury must indict a defendant before the case can go to trial, said Andy Conklin, a spokesman for the Cook County state’s attorney’s office.

No new details or charges were outlined in the indictment against Balfour, who faces first-degree murder and home invasion charges. The 27-year-old appeared briefly in court wearing a yellow prison jumpsuit and handcuffs but did not speak.

Defense attorney Joshua Kutnick asked the judge whether Balfour could be moved to the Cook County jail from a state facility in Joliet to make it easier to communicate with his client. The judge put off ruling on that decision until Jan. 20.

Balfour is the estranged husband of Julia Hudson, the sister of singer and actress Jennifer Hudson. He has pleaded not guilty in the deaths of the entertainer’s mother, Darnell Donerson; her brother, Jason Hudson; and her 7-year-old nephew and Balfour’s stepson, Julian King.

Balfour has been in custody at the Stateville Correctional Center since shortly after the bodies of Donerson and Jason Hudson were discovered Oct. 24 at the family’s South Side home. King’s body was found three days later in an SUV on the city’s West Side. All three had been shot.

Balfour was arrested the day of the killings and held in Chicago police custody for 48 hours - the longest a person can be held without charges - before his transfer to state custody on what authorities said was a parole violation. He was charged with murder earlier this month.

Tuesday’s indictment was expected, Kutnick said. He said that hard evidence linking Balfour to the crimes does not exist and that he was conducting his own investigation.

“The police believe it is William Balfour, but the problem is what they have done. They find their suspect and build evidence around the suspect. That’s not the way it should work. They should gather evidence and it should lead to a suspect,” Kutnick said. “This was the convenient person to go to. It is bolstered by the fact that it took them so long to get him arrested and charged.”

Balfour’s mother, Michele Davis Balfour, who attended Tuesday’s hearing with several family members, declined to comment.

Balfour has not had contact with the Hudson family, Kutnick said.

Members of the Hudson family did not attend the hearing. A publicist for Jennifer Hudson declined to comment. Both Julia and Jennifer Hudson have kept a low profile since the killings.

Jennifer Hudson, who was a finalist in the 2004 season of “American Idol,” won her Oscar in 2007 for her supporting role in the movie “Dreamgirls.”

Hopefully the trial will begin soon so that Jennifer can truly begin to heal. I don’t think that it will be possible until Balfour is convicted and sentenced.

Actor Blair Underwood is letting fans of the show know that its over:

Dirty Sex Money fans may be hoping to save the ABC show with an online petition, but actor Blair Underwood says they shouldn’t expect to see the cast returning to work anytime soon.

“As far as I’m concerned, we’re not doing any more shows,” says Underwood, who portrayed Simon Elder on DSM. “ABC officially doesn’t want to use the C-word-canceled-but we’re not on the schedule. I would pretty much say we’re canceled.”

HBO’s In Treatment is another series Underwood won’t be returning to, either.

His character, a Navy fighter pilot traumatized by a disastrous bombing he led in Iraq, died near the end of the first season earlier this year. That’s OK, though, because Underwood nabbed a Golden Globe nomination for his work.

He’s still debating if he’ll put together an acceptance speech beforehand. “My dad told me I should have something prepared just in case,” Underwood says. “He would always get ticked off every time he’d watch an awards show and somebody said, ‘I didn’t expect that.’ And he’d say, ‘What do you mean? You were nominated! How could you have not expected that? If there’s a possibility, be prepared!’ “

A Golden Globe isn’t the only award he’s up for these days. The actor is actually a Grammy nominee. Nope, he doesn’t sing. But Underwood, onetime Sex and the City love interest Cynthia Nixon and Beau Bridges are vying for Best Spoken Word Album for their work on An Inconvenient Truth (Al Gore).

Oddly enough, Underwood has yet to hear the album. He says with a laugh, “Now that I got the nomination, maybe they’ll send me a copy.”

I’m sorry that Dirty won’t be returning. Though the show had a comic edge, it reminded me a lot of the great primetime soaps of the 80’s such as Dallas, Dynasty and Knots Landing. Maybe another network will pick it up because it definitely was a unique show.

I guess Sir Charles better keep making those T-Mobile commercials with D. Wade and commentating because its a wrap for his political career:

Sir Charles Barkley was arrested on suspicion of drinking and driving early Wednesday morning.

A police officer with a law enforcement task force that targets drunken driving saw the former NBA star run a stop sign around 1:30 a.m., said Gilbert police Lt. Eric Shuhandler.

Barkley declined to submit to a breath test but was given a blood test. The results weren’t immediately available.

After Barkley was processed, he was cited and released. He left in a cab, Shuhandler said.

Shuhandler said there was nothing remarkable about Barkley’s arrest and that it is customary to release people after they’ve been arrested on suspicion of DUI.

“There was nothing unusual about how he was taken into custody,” Shuhandler said. “He was treated exactly like we treat anybody else.”

Barkley was arrested in Scottsdale’s Old Town area, one of the trendiest spots in the Phoenix metro area.

Barkley played 16 NBA seasons for the Philadelphia 76ers, Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets, and played on the USA Olympic “Dream Team” in 1992 and 1996. He was an 11-time NBA All-Star and league MVP in 1993.

Between his gambling debts and now this DUI arrest, Sir Charles derailed his political hopes all on his own. Well, at least he can still do the commercials. Those are hilarious.

The beautiful Ms. Burke is about to be thrushed directly into the big leagues:

Hot on the heels of reports she’s set to team up with 50 Cent, X Factor winner Alexandra Burke is reportedly set to hit the road with R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles.

The London-born singer, 20 - who is the current European record holder for single sales over a period of 24 hours, selling 105,000 copies of her debut single, Hallelujah, in one day - is planning to tour - AND record a single - with the former Destiny’s Child star.

Beyoncé - who married rapper Jay-Z in a secret ceremony earlier this year - will perform in London, Birmingham, and Manchester in May and it is believed Alex will support.

A source tells The People newspaper, “Beyoncé was blown away by Alex.

“She thought she had exceptional talent and told her so during their rehearsal for last week’s performance of Listen.

“In the dressing room, Beyoncé told Alex she’d like to work with her in the future and suggested the possibility of recording a new single together. She also said she’d love Alex to take part in her UK tour, possibly as a support act, although nothing is set in stone yet.

“After their duet last week Beyoncé then told X Factor supremo SIMON COWELL ‘I want to work with this lady. She is going to be a massive star’.

“Alex couldn’t believe what she hearing.

“Beyoncé is one of her all-time heroes and to be given her approval is like a dream come true.

“Beyoncé was outstanding and really helped Alex shine.”

I think that touring with Beyonce is a good look and it will expose her to a new fan base, but the 50 Cent collaboration — NOT SO MUCH.
